Craft Month Giveaway--Tote Bag with Painted Canvas

In honor of Craft Month, Color Crazy is giving away a locker hooking kit for the Tropical Tote. Locker Hooked Heart Box--Experimenting with Texture

Here's an easy design for a heart gift box. I have been experimenting with different materials to create texture in designs and decided to try raffia ribbon (the one I used is made from rayon). I hooked a heart shape for the lid of a paper mache box with fabric, variegated yarn and raffia for lots of texture. I pulled up extra long loops for more texture! I also thought I should try a lid with a locker hooked "ruched frame" design so I created one for a smaller box. See images…
